Ralph Lauren Culture Refresh

With the advent of Patrice Louvet’s stewardship of the Ralph Lauren legacy, the company’s leaders knew they needed to create a more future-facing mindset to reinvigorate their culture and to engage and retain top talent to sustain the power of their timeless brand. As Executive Creative Director at Korn Ferry, Colin Connor and his team worked with RL’s talent management, brand and communications leads to define what would become a culture reset experience, re-invigorating a sense of purpose and embedding the mindset shift leaders and employees would need to go to the the next level.

The internal roll-out for “Our Next Great Chapter is Your Next Great Chapter” marked the next phase of the Ralph Lauren growth strategy and served as an opportunity to breathe an animating force into the organization. It paved the way to creating opportunities for their people to realize their dreams, both personally and professionally.

Communicating the renewed values and expected leader principles as their global North Star, the new strategy helped to articulate what they stand for, where they are headed, and how they deliver. It evolved their legacy and was designed to help them navigate with resilience in a world of change.

Colin’s team worked together to create the campaign identity, learning materials, and workshop content leaders would need to understand, get behind and model the mindset shift, along with the communications strategy and gamification employees would need to catch the spirit of the culture refresh.
